Barbs Beef Noodle Skillet

Ingredients

  • 6 cups broad egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) mushrooms, undrained
  • 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup (1/2 of 250-g) Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Steps

  1. COOK noodles as directed on package.
  2. MEANWHILE, brown meat in skillet; drain. Add onions and peppers; cook and stir until tender. Stir in mushrooms, soup, cream cheese spread and Worcestershire sauce; cook 5 min. or until heated through.
  3. DRAIN noodles; place on serving platter. Top with meat mixture.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Place cooked noodles in 2.3-L casserole dish. Prepare meat mixture, as directed; spoon over noodles. Cool slightly before covering. Refrigerate until ready to serve. When ready to serve, sprinkle with 1 cup crushed Premium Plus Crackers and bake, uncovered at 375ºF for 40 to 45 min. or until heated through.

  • Serving Suggestion:Garnish with fresh herbs, such as parsley and chives.
